This mud room / vestibule provides both, a visual anchor to the home as well as a transitional space upon which to enter the building. Previously, the entrance consisted of steps and a concrete landing outside the entry door. Now, the rusted, woven steel fence and gate ground the approach to the striking, leaning entry. Once inside, you are greeted with a floating maple bench above a stone floor. The adjacent stairs are naturally illuminated, by the opposite window in the vestibule.
